What are the responsibilities and job description for the Brandon SD - Summer Parks Mower position at Alternative HR, LLC?
Wouldn't you love to help Brandon keep their parks beautiful? We are accepting applicants to mow the grass in the Brandon Parks. You'll get to operate a zero-turn riding mower and/or a tractor with a flail mower. The City of Brandon, SD seeks an individual to join our Parks and Recreation Department for the Summer of 2025 and potentially into fall as well. Stating rate of pay is $16.00/hour.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Strong mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of tools, methods and materials used
In addition, we prefer the following:
- Previous mowing experience or ability to operate tractors or similar equipment is helpful
- Experience in manual, semi-skilled work including operating a variety of equipment
- knowledge of small engines and equipment repair
Must be available weekly throughout the season approximately 20-30 hours each week - These hours may vary due to weather conditions.
Salary : $16
