Summer Seasonal Maintenance

Tripp County is building a Summer Seasonal Maintenance Crew and seeking motivated individuals to join the team for the 2025 Summer Season!

Here's what we are looking for:

• General Maintenance Workers
• Gravel Truck Drivers

As General Maintenance, here's what you'll get to do:

• Mowing and trimming public areas

• Patching roads with asphalt

• Assisting with general upkeep of city/county infrastructure

Here's what you'll need:

• Minimum age: 16 years old

• Must possess a valid driver’s license

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

As a Gravel Hauler, here's what you'll get to do:

• Haul and spread gravel and other materials

• Assist maintenance teams as needed

Here's what you'll need:

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)

• Previous experience operating dump trucks or similar equipment preferred but not required

Here's what you'll get:

• Seasonal employment (typically May–August)

• Full-time hours, Monday–Friday

• Competitive pay based on experience and position

  • General Maintenance = $18.50/hour
  • CDL Driver = $20.50
