What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Maintenance ( Summer) Aberdeen position at Glacial Lakes Energy?
Hours/Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm - May 2025 thru August 2025 (Temp)
The Summer Labor will work in all area of the plant to help with general maintenance and cleaning of plant area.
GLE is offering our Summer Labor help paid Holiday Time and 16 hours paid Personal Time to be used while they are employed.
Essential Job Functions
- Assisting the full-time employees with construction and maintenance of general plant area, cleaning, and any related work assigned.
- Painting of buildings and associated equipment, some climbing and lifting required.
- Responsible for lawn care to including: Operation of mowers and attachments, weed eater and heavy equipment.
- Miscellaneous projects handed down through other plant Departments.
- Participate in safety health and environmental programs.
- Participate in a team work environment.
To perform the essential functions of this position successfully, an individual should be able to demonstrate and provide the following:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Flexible to changes in job duties throughout the work day.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills as well as the ability to adapt to change.
