Job Description
This position supports individuals with disabilities to obtain and maintain employment as well as achieve meaningful active participation in a variety of community settings.
Responsibilities: Provide on-the-job support to people with disabilities working in competitive employment. Develop a positive, professional relationship with individuals' employers and a detailed understanding of the requirements of the individuals' job. This is a part-time position primarily on Saturdays at a local coffee shop in Livonia as a Job Coach. This coffee shop is a comfortably paced, inclusive and supportive work environment. There is potential for more days and hours in the future.

Alternative Services is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting people with intellectual disabilities, mental illness and/or autism in their homes, jobs, and communities throughout the state of Michigan. We are seeking compassionate people to provide care and support in a vocational program setting. Part-time positions are currently available in the Livonia, MI area.
Qualifications
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age, possess a valid Michigan Driver License and excellent moral character.
