REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, Human Services, Nonprofit Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience in developing and facilitating training programs, preferably in a nonprofit or disability services setting.
  • Strong understanding of disability rights, accessibility standards, and inclusive practices.
  • Strong interpersonal & effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a mission-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, learning management systems (LMS), and virtual training platforms (e.g., GoTo Meetimg).
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Ability to pass criminal / registry background checks and a drug screen
  • Clear tuberculosis (TB) screening

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities in a professional or volunteer capacity.
  • Current Red Cross Instructor Certification in CPR / SFA
  • Current Safety Care Instructor
  • Familiarity with LMS such as The College of Direct Supports and Relias
  • WORK SCHEDULE

  • Schedules / shifts may include day, evening and weekend hours
  • ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and deliver training programs for staff including developing educational materials, presentations, and resources tailored to different audiences.
  • Provide training in CPR / FA, SafetyCare and all agency-required training.
  • Develop, implement, monitor, and complete data entry for tracking attendance and performance.
  • Serve as a liaison with the local Red Cross regarding trainee certification and training schedule notifications.
  • Evaluate staff performance in designated training competency areas.
  • Participate in development and implementation of training plans.
  • Maintain and replenish all supplies and equipment relevant to CPR / FA, universal precaution kits.
  • Attend meetings and workshops as required.
  • Coordinate and assist in developing agency trainings.
  • Develop training calendar, coordinate and confirm trainers' schedules, and confirm training room reservations.
  • Schedule trainings and update attendance records in the training database portal.
