Key Responsibilities
- Leadership and Management:
- Supervise, guide, and mentor support staff, including Registered Nurses (RNs), Medical Assistants, and Healthcare Admins.
- Lead daily operations of the floor, ensuring effective scheduling, patient assignments, and task delegation.
- Evaluate support staff performance through regular assessments, feedback, and training.
- Foster a positive and patient-centered environment, ensuring high morale and productivity within the team.
- Clinical Oversight:
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based patient care in compliance with practice protocols and standards by supporting and collaborating with our medical providers.
- Oversee clinical documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness in line with regulatory standards.
- Monitor patient outcomes, ensuring timely interventions and updates to care plans when necessary.
- Staff Education & Development:
- Organize and lead training sessions, workshops, and in-service education for support staff to ensure knowledge of best practices and clinical protocols.
- Support professional growth opportunities for support staff, including mentoring, coaching, and training.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and promote a collaborative learning environment.
- Compliance and Quality Control:
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as accreditation standards.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to patient care, practice support, and departmental goals.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including audits, peer reviews, and patient safety initiatives.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Act as a liaison between support staff, physicians, providers, administration, and other departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Participate in management meetings and contribute to the development and execution of department policies and procedures.
- Address patient and family concerns regarding care, ensuring satisfaction and resolution in a timely and professional manner.
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
- 5 years of nursing experience minimum required.
- Experience managing staff.
- Proven ability in problem solving, working with patients and conflict resolution.
- Ability to effectively communicate in a professional manner .
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Previous healthcare management experience preferred.
Salary : $35 - $40
