Althoff Industries has an immediate opening for a high energy, multi-tasker with great customer service skills to work with our project management team in our Crystal Lake office. This position requires a motivated person that is detail oriented and can work as a team member to ensure superior service to all our customers.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist with work scheduling, organizing job files, and uploading job data into company software.
- Request pricing from vendors, create purchase orders, and order materials for jobs.
- Coordinate incoming deliveries.
- Assist with maintaining the daily schedule, updating daily reports, and meeting notes, organizing, and distributing messages.
- Assist with the acquisition of permits, program paperwork and other credentials.
- Assist with the distribution of tools and logging their activities.
- Update billing information.
- Assist with proposal letters and subcontractor quotes.
- Plot drawings.
- Follow up with customer service calls.
- Assist with on boarding of new field personnel.
- Assist the job project managers with project tasks.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Experience in the construction industry.
- Advanced customer service skills. Ability to speak effectively with clients and employees. Outstanding communication both verbal and written; a good telephone voice, proper English usage, and the ability to “project” oneself over the phone and in person.
- Ability to multi-task and problem solve.
- Engaging personality that blends well with others.
- Possess exceptional planning, organization, and time management skills.
- Computer skills/IT competent (Word, Excel, Outlook proficient typist, phone skills).
- Minimum of high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
This is a full time, in-office position, Monday through Friday.
MUST PASS DRUG SCREENING AND BACKGROUND CHECK TO QUALIFY.

Pay: $900.00 - $1,000.00 per week
