Responsibilities for Pet Groomer:
- Clean the dog's teeth
- Maintaining an upbeat attitude
- Calming techniques
- Ensure company policies are being followed
- Communicate effectively with clients to find out what they need
- Shampoo and wash a dog's hair or fur
- Create a welcoming environment for dogs and their owners
- Cut or shave a dog's hair or fur
The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to work with other groomers
- Ability to lift dogs that weigh up to 50 pounds
- Grooming abilities
- Calming presence to soothe dogs
- Ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time
- Ability to pass a background check
- Great communication skills
- Ability to work on a team
