What We're Looking For In You

• Must be a current student working toward degree in Industrial Distribution or Supply Chain Management
• Interest in pursuing a career in the construction industry
• Strong problem solving, and collaboration skills required

Your role as a Purchasing Intern

This internship will be focused on our purchasing group and interactions in the supply chain. The intern will work closely with out Tools / Logistics, Purchasing, Pre-Construction, and Job Site Logistics Coordinator. They will get a glimpse into the life of an electrical contractor to see the impact distribution has on our business. This internship should provide great insight on what it takes to service one of the largest contractors in Texas and an opportunity to find ways to make Alterman more efficient. This will be some rotational, but mostly project based internship. Duties and responsibilities may include :
