In this critical role, you will be a key partner to R&D leadership, providing data-driven insights and financial expertise to optimize resource allocation and drive the development of groundbreaking products. You will play a central role in analyzing project costs, evaluating ROI, and ensuring that our R&D investments deliver maximum value.
What You'll Do :
Optimize R&D Investments : Develop robust business models and frameworks to evaluate the financial viability of R&D projects, assess potential ROI, and prioritize initiatives based on strategic impactDrive Operational Efficiency : Analyze R&D spending, identify cost optimization opportunities, and implement strategies to improve resource allocation and streamline processesLead Budget Planning & Management : Spearhead the annual budgeting and forecasting process for the R&D organization, collaborating with engineering and product teams to develop accurate forecasts and allocate resources effectivelyDeliver Actionable Insights : Conduct in-depth analysis of R&D performance, including project cost tracking, resource utilization, and return on investment, to identify areas for improvement and inform strategic decision-makingInfluence Key Stakeholders : Prepare compelling presentations and reports that effectively communicate R&D performance, budget proposals, and investment recommendations to senior management and other stakeholdersWhat You'll Bring :
Proven Experience : 3 years of experience in business operations, finance, or a related field, with a strong focus on ROI analysis and cost optimizationAnalytical Expertise : Exceptional analytical and financial modeling skills, with a deep understanding of financial statements and key performance indicatorsStrategic Thinking : Ability to translate data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making and resource allocationCollaborative Approach : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with R&D teams and other stakeholdersPassion for Technology : A strong interest in technology and innovation, with a desire to contribute to the development of cutting-edge productsDrive for Results : A self-starter with a strong work ethic and a proven track record of delivering impactful results.Native-Japanese speaking skills : The role requires high-degree of interface with executives and professionals in Japan - so native Japanese language proficiency is highly desirable.Bonus Points :

Actual compensation packages within this range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate and role requirements, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
