At Altium, a global leader in PCB design software, we're seeking a highly motivated and analytical Strategic Business Operations Sr. Principal Analyst to join our dynamic Go-To-Market (GTM) team.
As a key member of our business operations organization, you will play a crucial role in shaping Altium's future by providing critical business insights and driving strategic GTM initiatives. You will collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing leaders, empowering them with data-driven analysis to optimize performance and achieve ambitious growth targets.
What You'll Do
Grow and maintain our best-in-class go-to-market pipeline that fuel sales motions through AI, automation, and deep data enrichment. Especially navigating the transition from a software business to a cloud-first / SaaS businessDirect impact on improving GTM efficiency and CAC : LTV ratio through data-driven insights and initiatives on the GTM funnel and systems.Model and assess impact as revenue recognition is transformed based on product delivery changesEnhance marketing analytics to surface and grow highest ROI channels. Especially around campaigns and cross-functional activities related to new logo acquisitionIdeate, explore, and test new GTM channels to diversify and scale out sales operations.Contribute to and / or lead ad hoc projects as business needs arise.You should definitely apply if you. . .

Lead Business Planning : Spearhead the annual operating and budget planning process, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop accurate forecasts and allocate resources effectively.Deliver Comprehensive Analysis : Conduct in-depth business analysis, including 3-statement modeling, to provide a clear understanding of business performance and identify opportunities for improvement.Influence Key Stakeholders : Prepare impactful board and investor reporting materials that effectively communicate business results and strategic plans.Own Budgeting and Forecasting : Manage the budgeting and forecasting process for the GTM organization, working closely with Sales and Marketing teams to ensure alignment and accuracy.What You'll Bring :
Proven Experience : 8 years of experience in strategic business operations, ideally within a high-growth technology company.Analytical Prowess : Strong business modeling skills and a deep understanding of financial statements.Strategic Mindset : Ability to translate data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making.Collaborative Spirit : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across different teams.SaaS Savvy : Experience in the SaaS industry is a plus, with a strong understanding of recurring revenue models.Drive for Excellence : A self-starter with a strong work ethic and a passion for delivering results.Investment Banking or Management Consulting background with SQL and data programming to leverage and screen large amounts of dataExperience supporting GTM teams in a SaaS environmentThe salary range for this role is $173,000 to $211,000. Actual compensation packages within this range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate and role requirements, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
