What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head MCAT Mentor position at Altius Test Prep?
WHO SHOULD APPLY: Any current Altius MCAT Mentor or SPC who is passionate about helping other mentors guide their students to maximum program completion and performance.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Continue all assigned mentoring responsibilities for your current students
- Meet on a regular basis with the Sr. Director of Student Progress and Director of Mentoring & Achievement to review student progress.
- Meet regularly via phone, zoom, or in-person with mentors, SPCs, and struggling students who require support.
- Successfully intervene on behalf of struggling mentors or students in a way that is professional, accountable, and motivational—and which produces real, measurable improvements.
- Occasionally assist with or manage special projects or events, such as curriculum initiatives or mentor training
- OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- You must have a score of 515
- You must be an active Altius MCAT Mentor in good standing.
- You must have a minimum of 10-20 hours per week of additional availability to contribute to the student progress team, beyond what is required to serve the students currently on your roster.
- You must be available to fill this role through mid-June 2024 at the earliest; preference given to applicants who are able to remain on the team through at least the 2024-25 school year.
