We are seeking an experienced Industrial Carpenter / Scaffold Builder to join our team at ALTIVIA. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for constructing, assembling, and maintaining temporary and permanent structures used throughout our chemical manufacturing plant.
Responsibilities:
- Construct, repair, and maintain a variety of wooden and metal structures, including frameworks, platforms, staircases, and other support structures.
- Assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding systems to provide secure access to elevated work areas and support maintenance, repair, and inspection activities.
- Collaborate with maintenance and construction teams to plan scaffold layouts and installations according to project specifications.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in industrial carpentry or scaffolding is a plus.
- Proven experience as an industrial carpenter and/or scaffold builder in a chemical manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of structural integrity, load-bearing, and construction safety standards.
