- Monitoring: Continuously monitor residents' vital signs, report any abnormalities, and take appropriate action as needed.
- Patient Education: Educate residents and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the interdisciplinary healthcare team, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care and support to residents.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting all care provided and any changes in residents' conditions.
- Emergency Response: Respond to medical emergencies, follow established protocols, and provide life-saving interventions when necessary.
- Infection Control: Implement infection control measures to prevent the spread of diseases within the facility.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall care provided within the facility.
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice.
- Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, preferably in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
