As a Caregiver, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, seniors, or patients in need of personalized care. Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including lifting and positioning clients
- Help with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
- Document client care activities accurately and timely
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure client privacy and confidentiality
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in caregiving or related field preferred
- Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities or seniors
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
- Knowledge of first aid procedures is a plus
- Familiarity with nursing home or assisted living facility protocols is beneficial
