We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Personal Care Assistants (PCAs). As a PCA, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with daily activities and ensuring their safety, comfort, and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with patient laundry and light housekeeping.
- Provide medication reminders and ensure adherence to care plans.
- Monitor and report significant changes in patient conditions.
- Prepare light meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Record patient temperature and assist with ambulation.
- Conduct range of motion exercises and support basic physical activities.
- Offer personal care services, including bathing assistance.
- Provide companionship through conversation, letter-writing, and reading.
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold care protocols.
- Follow all privacy policies and infection control guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Possess a valid Driver’s License and Auto Insurance.
- Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of relevant caregiving experience.
- Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care provided.
- Must comply with all state and federal training requirements.
