Position Overview
Altra Homecare Group is seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Personal Care Assistants (PCAs). In this role, you will provide essential personal care services designed to support the health, safety, and daily living needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care needs, including bathing and mobility support.
- Provide medication reminders and monitor vital signs, such as temperature.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry services.
- Support clients with ambulation and range-of-motion exercises.
- Ensure client safety and report any significant changes in condition to the supervisor.
- Offer companionship services, including reading and letter-writing assistance.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all care protocols, privacy policies, and infection control guidelines.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
- Preferred: Minimum of one year of relevant experience in caregiving or personal care.
- Ability to follow written instructions and accurately document care provided.
- Must meet all state and federal training requirements.
