What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intake Assessor position at Altru Health System?
Altru Health System and Universal Health Services are working together in expanding inpatient behavioral health services. The two companies are developing an inpatient behavioral health facility in Grand Forks, North Dakota. The goal for this facility will be to launch a new 24 bed program at the current Altru facility to accommodate both adult and pediatric patients with an additional 24 bed expansion planned for 2026. Our newly renovated 24-bed facility is set to open in January, 2025 and will feature an intake department for walk-ins.
The Intake Services Coordinator, under clinical supervision of a licensed social worker or licensed professional counselor, coordinates the referral development and pre-admission patient assessment process.

Job Requirements:
Master's Degree in a behavioral health related field or degree in Nursing with an active RN license. Minimum three (3) years clinical experience working within an Admissions department (psychiatric inpatient facility preferred).
