About the Role:
The CARDIOVASCULAR TECHNOLOGIST will be responsible for performing a variety of technical procedures in the diagnostic imaging department, including coronary angiography, peripheral angiography, and vascular ultrasound. This role requires a strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
The CARDIOVASCULAR TECHNOLOGIST will be responsible for performing a variety of technical procedures in the diagnostic imaging department, including coronary angiography, peripheral angiography, and vascular ultrasound. This role requires a strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Performs coronary angiography, peripheral angiography, and vascular ultrasound procedures, using advanced technology and techniques to diagnose and treat cardiovascular diseases.
- Correlates analysis of invasive and non-invasive tests to recognize need for additional intervention and reports pertinent findings to physician.
- Monitors and interprets data from imaging studies, informing diagnosis and treatment decisions.
- Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- N.D Medical Imaging License from North Dakota Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board within 12 months of start date.
- Cardiovascular Technologist - Registered from Cardiovascular Credentialing International within 24 months of start date.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications from American Heart Association within 90 days of start date.
- PREFERRED: Associate's degree in Cardiac Technician or Radiologic Technology.
