* Perform echocardiograms and other imaging procedures using advanced equipment
* Analyze results and recommend further testing or treatment as needed
* Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
Requirements:
* Associates degree in Cardiac Sonography or related field
* Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
Physical Demands:
* Frequent sitting, standing, walking, stooping, bending, reaching, and twisting
* Medium weight demands: lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and sliding objects weighing 20-40 pounds
Working Conditions:
* Primarily works indoors in a diagnostic imaging department
* Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures may occur
