As part of the Pulmonary Lab, you will play a crucial role in providing diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients with a range of pulmonary disorders. Your expertise will aid in diagnosing respiratory diseases through essential tests that measure lung function and treatment efficacy.
Key Responsibilities :
- Select evaluation and assessment methods that correspond with patient diagnoses and physician orders, documenting assessments per Pulmonary Function policies.
- Administer diagnostic and therapeutic treatments while providing physician assistance.
- Identify significant changes in patients' conditions, ensuring appropriate actions are taken, and communicate vital information to caregivers.
- Deliver comprehensive patient education and family support tailored to their needs.
- Manage order entry and verification, including processing patient charges.
- Ensure proper maintenance of Pulmonary Function equipment through cleaning and preventive procedures.
- Coordinate test scheduling efficiently with the care team.
- Conduct pain assessments and respond according to standard operating procedures.
