Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage a team of Patient Services staff, including but not limited to: hiring, guiding, assigning work, and evaluating individual performance.
- Ensure that the productivity and actions of the assigned team align with and support the overall operational goals of the department, as established by executive and senior leadership.
- Develop, analyze, and recommend changes to enhance patient satisfaction, improve accuracy, and increase efficiencies within the department.
- Use standardized metrics and data to assess and manage team performance on both an individual and group basis.
- Ensure the team adheres to all regulatory and compliance requirements, including but not limited to insurance verification, eligibility, and authorization processes, ensuring patient readiness for treatment.
- Actively manage and participate in special projects as assigned, contributing to the continual improvement of the department’s operations.
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 or more years of leadership experience
- 2 or more years of insurance verification experience
- 2 or more years of prior authorization or appeal experience in a healthcare setting
