Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Patient Services staff, including but not limited to: hiring, guiding, assigning work, and evaluating individual performance.
• Ensure that the productivity and actions of the assigned team align with and support the overall operational goals of the department, as established by executive and senior leadership.
• Develop, analyze, and recommend changes to enhance patient satisfaction, improve accuracy, and increase efficiencies within the department.
• Use standardized metrics and data to assess and manage team performance on both an individual and group basis.
• Ensure the team adheres to all regulatory and compliance requirements, including but not limited to insurance verification, eligibility, and authorization processes, ensuring patient readiness for treatment.
• Actively manage and participate in special projects as assigned, contributing to the continual improvement of the department’s operations.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2 or more years of leadership experience
• 2 or more years of insurance verification experience
• 2 or more years of prior authorization or appeal experience in a healthcare setting
