About The Position
Altus Power is currently seeking a highly motivated individual with the skills, experience, and aptitude to serve as an Accounts Receivable and Customer Experience Analyst / Associate. The candidate will work closely with our Accounting & Customer Experience teams.
Responsibilities
- Participate in day-to-day accounts receivable procedure including invoice processing, invoice recording, and record maintenance. Facilitate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close.
- Assist in open receivables management for ongoing accounts. Interpret new contracts and set up relevant billing protocol by understanding and applying current revenue recognition policy.
- Process electronic and physical cash receipts, occasionally contribute to treasury functions within accounting team. Follow internal control requirements. Assist with financial audit and fulfill audit requests.
- Build relationships with commercial and residential customer base. Become well versed in product offerings and individual customer arrangements. Help launch programs to increase customer outreach and engagement.
- Work with Community Solar Specialist to handle operations of internal and external community solar program. Validate reporting produced by external servicers in order to record accounting entries. Manage requests between Altus and the servicers and participate in bimonthly team calls for ongoing programs. Organize onboarding and setup process for new community projects.
- Maintain intermediary payment platform accounts. Reconcile payment information provided by servicer against bank detail and intermediary payment processor reporting. Track and mitigate risk of open A/R balances and customer churn.
- Work directly with team members from business development and inhouse development focusing on project to build out ability to track account activity at an individual customer level for community solar.
- Experience in accounts receivable
- Experience working with Community Solar is a plus
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
