An Altus Schools Education Specialist's role includes:
1) support for the instructional program for students with special needs
2) maintaining and creating accurate records for special education students
3) on-going student assessment and evaluation
4) on-going planning with instructional staff
This is a part-time hourly position (25 hours/week). Active California Intern Education Specialist Credential or Intern-Eligible for Education Specialist Credential Mild/Moderate or Extensive Support Needs (Moderate/Severe)
CLAD Certification or Full EL Authorization
Valid California driver license and transportation required
Pass a work styles/behavior survey and math assessment
Clear background check by the Department of Justice and FBI
TB Clearance
