Job Summary:
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Understand how to enter weekly tape inventory into the computer
- Be able to weigh-count all parts and record the count in the inventory
- Inventory into the tape department all production and material components
- Know what parts go to what machine
- Review weekly, quarterly, and yearly parts in inventory
- Understand inspection and test procedure
- Take weekly tape inventory
- Be able to detect and handle a non-conforming product in the area
- Understand how to carry out the first-in-first-out usage requirements
- Process the tape samples to the lab for each new lot number of tape
Education and Experience:
- High School graduate or G.E.D. and/or equivalent work experience desired
- Competent in the application of Microsoft Word & Excel
- Must be detail-oriented
- Must be confident and outgoing
- Must be self-motivated and team-oriented
- Must be friendly and able to ask questions in a non-confrontational manner
- Must demonstrate a positive and professional demeanor throughout Quality Assurance and all departments
Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment:
- Must be able to use hand trimmers for a full shift and be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
