Position Overview
We are looking for a detail oriented and proactive Inside Sales Representative to enhance our sales operations by providing essential sales, customer, and technical support in our sales and parts & service department. The successful candidate will collaborate with the sales, service and engineering teams, conducting outreach, quoting, order processing, and customer relationship management. This is an onsite and in person position located in Douglasville, GA and may require periodic travel to trade shows and exhibitions. After 90 days there is the opportunity to work from home on select days.
This is a salary plus commission opportunity for the the right candidate, salary negotiable based on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the sales team by managing inbound inquiries, generate new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, social media outreach, and networking.
- Preparing quotes, and processing sales orders.
- Handle data entry, maintain CRM records, and ensure accurate customer information.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding product information, availability, pricing, and order status.
- Coordinate with internal departments such as parts & service, engineering, marketing, production, finance, and customer service to ensure timely product delivery.
- Assist in lead generation efforts by researching potential customers and qualifying inbound leads.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for management review.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to support sales-related promotions and campaigns.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred, experience in related field considered in lieu of bachelor’s degree.
- Experience: Experience in Inside sales, customer support, or a related role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management abilities.
- Detail Oriented: Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Team Collaboration: Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills with the ability to work closely with sales teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in B2B or business-to-government (B2G) sales environments.
- Familiarity with sales reporting and analytics tools.
- Knowledge of Salesforce.
