The US subsidiary (handling sales and distribution in North America) of a Bahrain based aluminum smelter seeks an Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable accountant. Key Responsibilities : - Process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently - Obtain necessary approvals for invoice payments - Investigate and resolve discrepancies or issues with invoices - Prepare and process payments to vendors - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve outstanding balances - Assist with month-end closing activities and account reconciliations - Maintain organized electronic records of invoices and payments - Provide support to other finance team members as needed - Primary backup for accounts receivable function Qualifications : - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred - 2 - 5 years experience in accounts payable or related finance role preferred - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment - Effective communication and interpersonal skills - Works well in a team environment and with minimal supervision - Ability to maintain confidential information We are a small team based primarily in Colony Square (Midtown, Atlanta).
