What we need:
We are looking for an Accounting Clerk that will be responsible for performing clerical accounting duties.
Job Requirements:
Enter and/or upload invoices into system.
Sort, code, and match invoices ensuring the purchase order, supplier delivery and invoice reflect the same information. Deeming the invoice legitimate and ready for payment (three-way match).
Assist purchasing desk with data entry.
Create purchase order receipts in the system.
Assemble, title, review and verify invoices and check requests.
Flag and clarify any unusual or questionable invoice items or prices.
Assist in full month end close including analysis of pre-paid, accruals, intercompany reconciliation.
Track expenses and process expense reports.
Maintain accurate historical files and maintain vendor files.
Prepare analysis of accounts.
Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries.
Provide supporting documentation for audits.
Maintain financial security by adhering to internal accounting controls.
Strong commitment to good attendance and being on time.
Other duties assigned.
Skill Requirements:
Experience with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
1-3 years account payable or genal accounting experience.
Experience with a manufacturing MRP software is a plus.
Intermediate to Advance - Microsoft Excel (v-look up, pivot tables), internet-based programs, experience with accounting software and ERP system (e.g.: IFS).
In compliance with ITAR regulations, must be a US Citizen or US Person.
English (reading, writing, verbal and comprehension).
Highly detailed, organized and deadline-oriented, with the ability to prioritize, focus and thrice in a high paced multi-tasking environment.
Communicate effectively and professionally with all employees across all levels and departments at APP.
Compensation: $21.00 - $23.00 an hour. This is the lowest to highest hourly rate we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
