What we need:
We are looking for a CNC Machinist Level I that will load and unload parts from the CNC machines, run and operator CNC equipment and perform in-process inspection at machines.
Job Requirements:
Operate CNC machines.
Load and unload machines.
Operate clamps and hoists for assisted lifting of parts.
Verify machine set-up before machining parts.
Check for and replace worn cutters and/or tool bits.
Read machining specifics included in travelers and blueprints.
Perform in-process inspection of machined parts are required.
Skill Requirements:
Communicate with supervisor, maintenance personnel and co-workers.
Maintain focus on the assigned tasks throughout a scheduled shift.
Use and read precision instruments for the inspection of machined parts.
Read and comprehend travelers and accompanying documents.
Document in-process inspections as required.
Demonstrate proficiency in basic mathematics.
Work with little or no supervision throughout shift.
Recognize any mechanical dysfunctions and notify a supervisor
Ensure adherence to APP’s policies and procedures, including our code of conduct and ethics policy, product safety, employee safety and cultural beliefs.
Ensure adherence to all process specifications.
Support the Plant quality system goals / improvements & productivity goals / improvements within the scope of the job.
Compensation: $21.50 - $22.50 an hour. This is the lowest to highest hourly rate we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
