What we need:
We are looking for a CNC MACHINIST that can start working right away. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for the set-up and operation of CNC machines, editing of programs and tooling, and performing part inspections.
Job Requirements:
Make all necessary changes to tooling, programs, speeds, cutter paths under minimum supervision.
Set-up and run CNC equipment.
Perform in-process inspections and simple first article inspections.
Perform buy-off for production at CNC machine centers with supervisor’s approval.
Recognize and replace any dull or chipped tools.
Document inspections as required.
Keep accurate part counts.
Re-evaluate and/or reject defected parts as required.
Communicate effectively and professionally with employees across all levels and departments at APP.
Work safe and maintain an organized, lean work environment.
Strong commitment to good attendance and being on time as it is critical to meet production needs.
Supply own measuring and hand tools
Skill Requirements:
In compliance with ITAR regulations, must be a US Citizen or US Person.
Minimum 3 years’ experience with CNC machining and techniques.
Ability to follow specific instructions and directions.
Able to work in a demanding fast paced environment.
English (reading, writing, verbal and comprehension).
Use and read measuring devices necessary for inspection of machined parts.
Training in blueprint-reading is preferred.
Compensation: $20.50 - $28.31 an hour. This is the lowest to highest hourly rate we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
