Treasury Analyst

Alumni Ventures (AV) has over 10,000 investors who have invested over $1.3 billion in our venture capital funds. We are looking for a senior software engineer that finds the venture capital industry fascinating and even one day might want to do their own startup. But before you do that startup, you will help to build internal tools that turbocharge our marketing & sales organization and also help our investment teams make great investments. Many of these tools will have some element of AI involved.

We are actively looking for a Treasury Analyst to cover for a 4 month contract with a chance to extend. This role will be based in our Corporate Headquarters in Manchester, NH and will be required to be on site 5 days a week.

Responsibilities:

• Daily processing and review of cash positions, including incoming and outgoing activity
• Ensure accurate maintenance of bank accounts, balances, bank/Treasury systems
• Process cash advances/returns as needed for deal funding
• Works closely with Fund Accounting team to process deal transfers, management fee drawdowns, reconciliations
• Process distributions across all methods of payment (ACH, wire, checks)
• Monitor uncashed checks, reissue as needed
• Setup and maintain bank accounts upon request from Legal
• Participate in any special ad hocs projects as needed
• Actively participate in process improvements/documenting of SOPs

Basic qualifications

• BS/BA required
• 1-2 years prior Treasury experience; exposure to venture, private equity, mutual fund, or similar accounting is preferred
