Position Overview
The Treasury Specialist will prepare, execute and track daily cash transactions for C&S Affiliate Companies. Initiate various cash processes and reports to assist in the execution of daily treasury operations and assist the accounting department in reconciliation research of general ledger cash accounts.Job Description
- Review bank transactions and prepare the analysis of the daily cash position for affiliate bank accounts.Includes daily payment processing to fund vendor payments.
- Initiate vendor check printing and vendor electronic payments after receiving confirmation from AP to pay.
- Provide bank statements to the Accounting department for their preparation of reconciliations on a monthly basis.
- Liaison between the organization and partnering banks to report and collect funds related to fraud affidavits.
- Monitor and report check and electronic payment returns to various Finance departments.
- Run weekly payroll funding report from Workday to ensure sufficient funds for payroll payments.
- Partners with AP and Payroll to conduct stop payments and reissue payments for vendors and employees.
- Performs payroll check reconciliation in Workday to ensure all employee payments are accurate. Researches discrepancies and partners with Payroll to resolve.
- Compiles information for business partners on tax and garnishment fundings and ensures payments were made to tax & garnishment third-party vendors.
- Prepares EFT analysis to determine the financial impact of converting a vendor from check to electronic payment.
- Load monthly bank account analysis statements and run reports for Senior Leaders.

Skills
- Specialized Knowledge : Demonstrated proficiency in Excel, experience with financial systems/ software and payroll systems (e.g. AR/AP/GL package) preferred
