Position Summary :
Responsible for managing all client financials from admission to discharge, including EDI billing, data entry, and communication with patients, families, and hospital staff to ensure accurate billing and compliance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform EDI billing and transmit claims.
- Enter charges for inpatient and outpatient programs daily.
- Conduct daily closes to ensure service and billing accuracy.
- Keep patient files current with accurate documentation.
- Prepare report binders for month-end accounting.
- Liaise daily with clinicians and doctors for billing documents.
- Communicate with patients / families for necessary documentation.
- Assist with daily banking processes.
- Review patient services for accuracy.
