Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized in-office Home Care Scheduler to coordinate caregiver schedules across multiple clients in Greenville County. This role requires strong communication, problem-solving, attention to detail, and time-management skills in a fast-paced team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule Management: Assign and adjust caregiver schedules based on experience, skills, personality, and client needs for various shift lengths, 24/7, and replacing caregivers with a suitable substitute when they call-out.
- Caregiver Matching: Strategically pair caregivers with clients to ensure the best fit.
- Communication: Notify caregivers and clients of schedule updates and changes.
- System Management: Maintain accurate records using WellSky (ClearCare) software.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the care team, client and family to address urgent scheduling needs.
- Time & Attendance: Track employee attendance, PTO, and compliance.
- Onboarding Support: Assist with caregiver training and onboarding.
- On-Call Support: Participate in rotating after-hours and weekend scheduling (remote).
- Emergency Coverage: Step in for urgent scheduling gaps when necessary.
Qualifications
- Experience in home care scheduling, healthcare, or a related field.
- Strong organizational, customer service, priority setting, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Attention to detail and time management
- Proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
