Job Summary
Always Best Care Senior Services - Oahu is seeking compassionate, dedicated Caregivers to provide in-home care for seniors at our Kane'ohe Facilities. This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the healthcare/medical field. Responsibilities
- Provide direct care and assistance to seniors in our Kane'ohe Facilities, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping.
- Monitor and document clients' physical and emotional well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
- Engage in meaningful activities and conversations with clients to promote socialization and companionship.
- Follow all care plans and schedules provided by the client's healthcare team.
- Maintain a safe and clean living environment for clients, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare team members.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience working with seniors in a caregiving role preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to our Kane'ohe Facilities.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic attitude towards seniors.
