Responsibilities
- Assist senior residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and medication reminders.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to seniors.
- Plan and prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions.
- Assist with light housekeeping and laundry tasks.
- Escort seniors to and from appointments, social events, and activities.
- Monitor and report any changes in the senior's health or behavior to the appropriate staff.
- Maintain a safe and comfortable living environment for seniors.
- Foster a positive and supportive relationship with senior residents and their families.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
- Compassionate and patient with a strong desire to help others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
