Job Description:
We are urgently seeking compassionate, experienced Live-In Caregivers for elderly patients requiring hospice care and assistance with dementia. This position will be based in South Windsor, Enfield, Vernon, and surrounding towns in Connecticut. The caregiver will need to reside in Connecticut and have experience with hoyer lifts and other essential caregiving tasks.
The ideal candidates will have experience working with dementia clients, hospice care, and be willing to provide transportation for client appointments. In return, you will receive weekly pay of $1,922.25 and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily living activities, including incontinence care, bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals living with dementia.
- Monitor changes in the patient's condition and communicate updates with family and healthcare professionals.
- Support memory care routines and engage in cognitive exercises to promote mental health.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of patients at all times.
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and nutritional support as necessary.
- Medication reminders and monitoring medication schedules.
- Transporting clients to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and other outings as needed.
- Use hoyer lifts and other equipment as needed for patient care.
Requirements:
- Must reside in Connecticut.
- Experience with dementia patients and hospice care is required.
- Hoyer lift experience is a must.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle (required for travel to appointments and errands).
- Must be available to work 7 days a week on a live-in basis.
- At least 2 years of experience as a caregiver or in home care is preferred.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and exhibit a high degree of professionalism.
- Must have patience, empathy, and a compassionate attitude.
- Ability to pass state and national background checks.
- CPR and First Aid certifications are a plus.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and the care team.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S..
