Position Summary:
Always Best Care Senior Services is seeking a dynamic and compassionate Community Relations Placement Specialist to join our team in the Chapel Hill–Durham market. This full-time role focuses on building relationships with referral sources, guiding families through the senior living placement process, and promoting our free placement services across the community.
This role is ideal for a self-starter with a heart for seniors, strong networking skills, and a drive to grow professionally within a purpose-driven organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, rehab centers, elder law attorneys, social workers, and other referral sources.
- Educate the community and professionals about Always Best Care’s free senior living placement services.
- Conduct intake assessments with clients and families to understand care needs, preferences, budget, and location.
- Recommend and coordinate tours of independent living, assisted living, and memory care communities.
- Follow up with families and communities to ensure a smooth transition and quality experience.
- Track activity and outcomes in CRM software and report on referral and placement metrics.
- Represent Always Best Care at networking events, community presentations, and health fairs.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: Provided until earned placement commissions exceed base.
- Placement Commission Plan: Generous, performance-based.

Qualifications:
- Proven success in community outreach, healthcare marketing, or senior living sales.
- Understanding of the senior care landscape and local market is a plus.
- Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Empathetic, organized, and solutions-oriented.
- Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but relevant experience will be strongly considered.
