Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with Medicare guidelines for Home Health services.
Prepare, submit, and track Medicare claims and required documentation.
Oversee OASIS documentation, care plans, and other regulatory paperwork.
Support agency audits and accreditation (e.g., Joint Commission, ACHC, CHAP).
Stay updated on Medicare rules and industry changes that impact home health.
Assist with billing, authorizations, and patient eligibility verification.
Work closely with clinical and administrative teams to maintain compliance.
Provide administrative support, including scheduling, data entry, and record-keeping.
Oversee the entire home health agency's operations, including staff management, policy implementation and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with Medicare or CMS in compliance, billing, and coding.
Must have prior healthcare experience.
Strong familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and documentation software.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of state and federal home health regulations is a plus.
