We are looking for 2025 Volunteer Camp Hosts at Camp Always Choose Adventures.
Season: May 1st - October 1st
Camp ACA, Central City, CO
About Us:
Camp ACA is a nonprofit outdoor educational campground dedicated to providing inclusive adventures and hands-on support for individuals of all abilities.
Position Overview:
The Camp Host is a volunteer position responsible for overseeing day-to-day campground operations, assisting guests, and helping maintain a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for all campers and visitors.
Responsibilities:
• Greet and assist campers during check-in and check-out.
• Answer questions about the campground, local trails, and recreational opportunities.
• Monitor campground facilities to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Provide first aid and emergency support as needed.
• Assist with maintaining firewood, Wi-Fi, and gear library supplies.
• Educate guests on Leave No Trace principles and Camp ACA’s mission.
• Report any issues or concerns to the Camp ACA leadership team.
• Assist with event and clinic setup as needed.
Qualifications:
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must Pass Background Check.
• Current Wilderness First Aid (WFA) and/or Wilderness First Responder (WFR) certification with CPR/AED training is required.
• Enthusiasm for outdoor recreation and environmental stewardship.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
