Dog Daycare Receptionist

Job Description: Always Unleashed, a dog care facility in North Scottsdale, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Lobby Receptionist to join our team. As the Lobby Receptionist, you will be the welcoming face for our furry guests and their owners, ensuring their experience is exceptional from the moment they arrive.

Responsibilities:

• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating the ability to handle stress in rapid-paced situations.
• Manage the front desk, checking in and out our beloved pups with a warm and friendly demeanor.
• Engage in feeding, answering calls, returning messages, performing administrative duties, and maintaining a clean reception area.
• Display exceptional multitasking abilities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Possess quick thinking skills and the ability to retain instructions promptly.
• Demonstrate a detail-oriented and organized approach to work.
• Maintain a clean-cut appearance and articulate our program with sophisticated eloquence.
• Oversee and ensure that other staff members are completing their assigned chores.
• Utilize your experience in running a fast-paced office to excel in this role.
• Display a bold and strong personality, as you will be handling and interacting with 80-100 large, strong dogs.
• Provide a safe environment by confidently handling conflicts between dogs.

Requirements:

• Proven professional experience in fast-paced environments, demonstrating the ability to manage multiple tasks and excel under high-pressure situations.
• Minimum one year of relevant experience in handling a heavy workload and thriving in a dynamic atmosphere.
• Active, strong, and athletic individuals preferred, capable of confronting the rigors of handling big dogs.
• Candidates must have their own reliably commute to our North Scottsdale location at 7230 E Adobe Drive (Scottsdale Rd, 2 miles north of the 101).

Compensation:

• Starting pay for the Receptionist/Big Dog Handler position is $19.00 - $20.50 per hour.
• First 30 hours (5 days) of training are paid at $13.85 per day, followed by a bump to $19.50 per hour.

Job Details:

• Job type: Part-time
• Hours: Two shift types (Morning or Afternoon) 7:00 am to 1:00 pm or 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm (including weekends, as needed)
• Schedule: 6-hour shifts and weekends as required
• Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)
• Work Location: In-person at our North Scottsdale facility
