Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial mechanics and possess strong analytical skills to diagnose and repair equipment efficiently.
-Hours: 7am-330pm, work schedule TBD, but will work Sat-Sun every week
-Temp to hire.
- Will use sit down forklift, willing to train.
-Must be reliable and hard-working.
-Some mechanical background preferred.
-Will cross train on all jobs, including cleaning cooling fans, removing hoppers to be emptied, etc.
-Will monitor oil levels in machines and re-fill to appropriate levels with correct oil.
-This position will involve a lot of walking/lifting.
-Will lift up to 50# on occasion unassisted.
-Will use personal cell phone to download app to record levels.
-Steel toe shoes required.
-For interviews - steel toe shoes required.
Job Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent; directly applicable experience may be substituted.
* CNC machinery experience preferred (not required).
* Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
* Accurately read and understand measurement devices.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
* Check fluid reservoir levels and measure fluid concentrations in machinery and/or sumps.
* Add fluids in the correct ratios to sump and/or machinery as required (e.g., product coolant, water, lubricant, etc.).
* Record data for each sump and/or machinery.
* Support change-out of metalworking fluid systems under customer direction.
* Clean sump screens.
* Change filters.
* Remove chips.
* Monitor fluid inventory levels and report when inventory is low.
* Conduct lubricant/coolant lab checks.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
