WORK LOCATION: Anchorage, Alaska
SCHEDULE: This is a regular exempt level position that works an urban 40-hour week or compressed work week 9/80 schedule. Relocation benefits may apply.

MINIUMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Applicant must meet or exceed these minimum job requirements to apply for this position.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
- Six (6) years of experience in IT management, governance, or related roles
- Proven leadership, team development, and cross-functional collaboration
- Strong and proven management skills. Expertise in budget planning, financial management, and workforce management
- Deep understanding of IT strategic planning, governance, operating models, and change management
- Experience leading large-scale organizational and technology change
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills
- * Equivalent experience may substitute for the bachelor’s degree on a year-for-year basis
PREFERENCES:
- Master’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
- Fifteen (15) years of experience in IT, with a significant portion of that time spent in senior leadership positions
- Business-minded, strategic thinker, excellent communicator, and analytical problem-solver

The Alyeska Valdez Marine Terminal (VMT) is a regulated facility, and the employee hired to work on the VMT or to provide emergency support or other approved work for the VMT will be required to have a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
