FINISH CARPENTRY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Finish carpenters at AMCSI are frequently in charge of residential and commercial construction, as well as the installation of many interior elements and structures.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and plans
- Measure, cut, and shape lumber into multiple structural components
- Verify final work meets original specifications and is in compliance with building codes and regulations
- Install cabinets, countertops, doors and hardware, and millwork
- Maintain a clean, organized job site and dispose of waste material properly
- Troubleshoot any problems and make repairs or adjustments where needed
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in reading blueprints
- Ability to measure, cut and shape wood
- Critical thinking
- Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environments
Qualifications:
- Sense of hustle
- Willingness to learn
Education Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED
