Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced auto parts sales representative to join our team at AM Ford. In this role, you will be responsible for selling parts and taking inventory of stock in storage and on shelves. You will also work closely with customers to understand their needs and preferences, communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner, and follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish
- Work with parts manager to locate any parts not in stock
- Complete special order part requests for customers
- Communicate with customers on parts status
- Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations applicable to the industry
Requirements:
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to identify problems quickly and think critically
- Knowledge of automobiles
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
- Minimum of one year in a service department preferred
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time
- Positive, friendly attitude
- High school diploma or equivalent
