Duties
- Coordinate and manage daily freight operations, ensuring timely dispatch of shipments.
- Utilize GPS and other tracking systems to monitor vehicle locations and delivery status.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and other stakeholders to provide updates and resolve issues.
- Oversee shipping and receiving processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Utilize transportation planning tools to optimize routes and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure seamless operations and address any logistical challenges.
Requirements
- Proven experience in freight dispatching or transportation management is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with various stakeholders.
