Technical Requirements
To succeed as an HVAC Test and Balancing Technician, you must have experience with mechanical system balancing and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Install new tools and support equipment, activate/deactivate temporary exhaust, and perform rough and final balance (exhaust).
- Conduct system support checks and inspections, including periodical flow and pressure checks and internal system inspections with a borescope.
- Balance air delivery, process exhaust and vacuum, and hydronic systems, including heating water, chilled water, condenser water, process water, and city water.
