What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Coordinator (Semiconductor - Tool Install) position at AM Technical Solutions, Inc?
Summary:
This individual will be responsible for managing the driving the safe completion and act as a primary point-of-contact for collaborating with trade partners, tool and system owners, and 3rd party vendors.
The ideal candidate should have previous experience monitoring projects and progress toward milestones while working with both internal and external teams to identify and remove constraints, help mitigate risks effecting the implementation of construction scope, and escalating all constraints that cannot be resolved independently.
This particular need would be focused on tool installation and/or thin film equipment.
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for understanding work control processes as well as ensuring and actively pursuing safe work practices and performance excellence every day.
· Accountable for implementing proactive process for identification and mitigation of potential bottlenecks or “trigger” points with focus on performing audits and coaching ensuring safe work conditions have been achieved.
· Understand timing of Quality inspections and support the quality program in a manner that enables reliable delivery of the Team's committed milestone delivery plans.
· Lead 3rd party vendor execution, testing, and certification reports i.e. Press Test, Analytical Test, Voltage Checks, and Exhaust Test and Balance.
· Coordinate with all 3rd party suppliers in a manner that aligns with the project milestones including validation of system integrity prior to test phases.
· Actively participate in the Pull Planning, Weekly Work Planning, and Daily Huddle cadence.
· Demonstrate pro-active understanding of field conditions, conflicts, and predecessor scope activities in compliance with processes.
· Assist with field construction schedule management.
· Communicate to the project team short interval scheduling priorities that align with the team’s committed plans and the overall project schedule.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
· Must have 3 years of relevant construction management experience on capital construction projects.
· Experience with semiconductor or high-tech industries strongly preferred.
· Must be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
· Must possess strong project background and understanding of building construction.
