Qualifications and Requirements
Experience and Relationships :
- Must have current relationships with case managers, social workers, discharge planners, or other medical field sources.
Education :
Bachelors degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred. (3 years of related experience to substitute Bachelors Degree)Experience :
2–5 years of strong sales experience in the healthcare industry (home care experience preferred).Proven track record of relationship-based selling and account management.Skills :
Excellent communication and customer service skills.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.Demonstrated initiative to work independently and effectively.Professionalism :
Consistently professional in appearance, attitude, and behavior.Maintains proper telephone etiquette, common courtesy, and a positive demeanor when representing the organization.Additional Requirements :

Senior Care Advisor will be calling on new and established referral sources daily, weekly and monthly (outpatient services, independent retirement facilities, assisted living facilities, hospitals, LTC agents, financial planners, etc.)It is expected and required that SCA will see 10-15 NEW referral sources per day 5 days a week, to bring in new business. Job day starts no later than 8 AM each day.Promote / sell company services to existing and potential clients and referral sources.Effectively designs and executes call cycles within a specified geographicalKeeps all patient information confidential.Coordinates discharge plans with administrative and caregiving staffIt is expected that SCA will return calls, text, emails within a timely manner. Within an hour is preferred on all forms of communication.Establishes professional customer / referral relationships with appropriate personnel.Submits weekly CRM reports on sales volumes / expenses / activities.Attends a weekly team meeting to report activity of the week.Conducts all business transactions in a manner that upholds the high ethical standards of the company.Daily follow-up on all active and pending inquires.Demonstrates support for the agency’s Mission Statement to promote quality, efficient, comprehensive, compassionate, and effective client service.Strong organizational skills, with regard to filing paperwork, and keeping back office updated on any pending business.Must have proven skills in working independently, self-motivated and goal oriented.Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in written form.Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with multiple and varied people and organizations.Demonstrate self- confidence.Ability to work flexible hours, as admission responsibilities may dictate.Basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)Performs other duties as assigned.Job Type : Full-time
