As a Care Coordinator at Amada Senior Care, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our clients receive the highest standard of care. You will work closely with clients and their families to accurately plan and coordinate their caregiver’s schedule. This role involves coordinating services, managing client relationships, and supporting our team in delivering exceptional senior care.

Job Responsibilities :
Schedule shifts by matching caregiver qualifications and availability to clients’ needs
Communicate with families and clients to assess care requirements and preferences
Communicate new assignments and / or schedule changes to caregivers and clients
Ensure that employees deliver services in a caring and respectful manner, in accordance with relevant Agency policies and industry standards
Shared responsibility for interviewing and onboarding new caregiver hires
Give encouragement, support and recognition needed for the caregiver whose position involves responsibility
Work under time pressure and manage multiple demands simultaneously
Follow-up with prospective clients over the phone
Occasional evening and weekend on-call work will be required; these hours would be remote
Successful applicants should meet these requirements :
- Previous experience working in a healthcare or medical administrative role, preferably in senior care strongly preferred.
- Associates degree or higher preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered in place of a degree.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, families
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent computer, telephone, and written communication skills.
- Experience working with clients in a professional setting.
